Essential for my freelance business
I use Freshbooks to track hours and create and send invoices for my freelance writing business. I regularly juggle 8+ clients at one time, with a mix of hourly and project-based engagements, so it's essential to use a tool like Freshbooks to keep organized. The time I save with Freshbooks more than pays for the subscription itself. I've recommended it to many fellow freelancers.

I also have a merchant account with my bank but using FreshBooks has been easier for my clients due to it being contactless and also for clients that can’t be onsite.

Freshbooks has allowed me to keep track of my hours and automatically bill my clients. It handles follow up messages and I don't have to worry about hunting down my clients to get paid.

I wish I had started using it years ago!
As a small business owner I tried to keep costs down and do my invoicing, expenses and sales tax on a google sheet. I wasted hours each month prepping invoices, preparing sales tax returns etc. Now, having used FreshBooks for a couple of years, I can safely say it saves me hours of time each month. Expenses not updating
My expenses were not automatically importing from my bank. I contacted support and they quickly got back to me. The issue was quickly resolved. I appreciate Freshbook's quick support.

Couldn’t Be Easier!
Freshbooks has made bookkeeping a breeze for me. I have it attached to my business accounts so I only need to jump into it 2 or 3 times a month to make sure my income and purchases are reconciled and balanced, but it does all the the heavy lifting for me. Last year was my first time being in business for myself and I used Freshbooks on a recommendation.
