FreshBooks is the best product for independent contractors
I've used Quicken and QuickBooks for my personal and business accounting in the past. FreshBooks is the perfect solution for me as an independent contractor. The price point is unbeatable and the product is absolutely right-sized for someone who wants their bookkeeping in order, and doesn't want to spend their time crunching numbers when you could be finding new clients or delivering an awesome product to your customers. Ease of use and support
I found FreshBooks very intuitive. The learning curve was short. When I have needed assistance my call to support has always been answered promptly and by a living person ready to help.

Freshbooks: Convenient, and improving
What do you like best? Clean interface, understandable. Thoughtful features. I use it mainly for sending invoices. What do you dislike? It doesn't handle transfers from one account to another and forces them to be classified as some sort of expense. perfect for a consultant operating across multiple countries.
Freshbooks suits my business needs perfectly as a consultant operating across multiple countries where invoices are required in a number of currencies. I have not experienced any issues with features or functionality.

Very good for small biz owners like me!
I was introduced to Freshbooks by Jillian Verden and have been a happy business owner since. The good news is my business grew large enough that my own spreadsheet of income/expenses no longer "did it" Freshbooks is easy to learn, user friendly and very professional.My biggest issue was the itemization of expenses. It is now automated but sometimes they get duplicated which depicts the wrong info. If that can be built in differently somehow, then it would be much easier.Overall, VERY happy! ...

Easy to Use
It is very easy to use as well as the cost is very reasonable. When compared to QuickBooks online, it offers more for the price.One thing, I am on the fence with this app as it tries to determine and categorize the expenses that get downloaded and it often makes mistakes. It's a new feature but I end up having to change it.
