I got Freshbooks because I wanted something to manage my business accounting instead of using Excel. It is a good tool for invoicing, time tracking, expense entry and extracting using reports.It is not however an accounting software, not even close...-It does not do Journal entries (Debit, Credit-It cannot track negative expense (credit-Cannot track restaurant expenses (50% taxes do not work-Invoicing reports do not show paid dates which is as important as billed date.My accountant can ...

Simply the easiest invoicing solution for small businesses

I first started using Freshbooks in 2014 after first sending manual invoices via Word/PDF and then a couple of other invoicing solutions before finally deciding on Freshbooks. Best decision ever. These guys get small business - they are constantly adding new features and are very open to new ideas from the community. Simply the best solution for me.

Accounting from the comforts of bed

I love the simplicity of Freshbooks. One of my favourite components of the web app and the phone app is the invoicing tool. It's simple to use, helps me keep all my clients organized, and I have at least once sent an invoice on my phone from my bed. Breakfast in bed is great but invoicing in bed is better. My Favorite things...

We love using Freshbooks for invoicing our clients, and my favorite feature is the ability to see when a client views and prints their invoice...I cannot tell you the number of times a client tells me that have not received their invoice and I look to see that they have and have printed it! Love the ease of use of the tool.
