Float pros and cons

  • Requires minimal training to get started, with fast onboarding.

  • Clear layout shows team availability, workloads, and schedules at a glance.

  • Supports real-time task updates and team coordination.

  • Drag-and-drop scheduling, customization, and color-coded tasks aid project and resource management.

  • Integrations are limited beyond Asana and Workflow Max.

Great software

What do you like best? I very much like the UI as it is what you would expect from a new age software. I also liked the filtering functionalities that easily help you retrieve information. What do you dislike? There is nothing that I would say that disliked. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It is used for time management and it is efficient.

Floats My Boat, Every Time.

What do you like best? Easy to use and lets me get to my schedule instantly. No fiddly menus and searching. The customisable layout is also fantastic, allowing me to view my schedule in isolation or in context with the other members of the copywriting and design team. What do you dislike? Nothing. It's perfect for my needs and keeping me on top of my work. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our previous system for monitoring ...

Great UI

What do you like best? I like how simple it looks. I get an instant overview of my day/week with a minimal number of clicks. What do you dislike? Could improve their accessibility a bit; e.g. task modal text element colour contrast isn't great. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I often work on multiple different projects in a given day, so having a scheduling solution like this is really indispensable. Definitely helps when I'm ...

Managers love it!

What do you like best? The managers use float to quickly understand what tasks the analysts have on their plate. If you're in an industry like mine, goals and priorities can shift at the drop of a hat. Float provides a great solution to getting all hands on deck without completely disrupting normal flow of work. What do you dislike? Some improvements could be made to inputting calendar data. The site lacks intuitive controls which could bring it on par with a modern cell phone app, ...

Good simple project tracker

What do you like best? I like the clean UI, the ease of use and the simplicity of it. What do you dislike? I'd like more options and controls. I can only view a week at a time and only my calendar (this might be due to my organization's settings). Recommendations to others considering the product: It's great for a simple, easy to use no-frills tracker. I'm also assuming its a lot cheaper than some of the alternatives out there. What problems are you solving with the ...

Easy Employee Management

What do you like best? The software provides an easy overview of all employee's day-to-day activities across the business for all locations. This becomes especially important as our business has on-shore and off-shore resources with teams that need to work collaboratively and at capacity. What do you dislike? Some aspects of the software can be clunky. Despite being given access, it required a refresh on my user permissions before it worked as expected. Simple additions like ...

Really visual, easy to use platform

What do you like best? It's a very colourful, quick and to use tool. What do you dislike? To be honest nothing in particular, it's great. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We used to manage reproducing our team on project with a spreadsheet but as we grew above 40 people we moved to Float. You can scan it very quickly and know your 'work plan' for the week.
