Slow upload...

I needed to transfer 50gb data and was looking for a fast transfer. It took 18 hours to upload the files. However download was rather quick and took 2-3 hours.I think their upload speed is around 1.2 mb/s where as download is much faster.

FileWhopper to the rescue

I needed to share a folder 34GB in size. After checking several different file transfer providers, I chose FileWhopper because they offered the best price. Everything went smooth, plan to use them in the future if I need to send big files again.Cons: For sharing my download link and password, I had to use my email. I would prefer to do this directly in the app.

Straightforward and very easy to use service.

Pros: Pay as you go.Cons: doesn’t work on Macs.Good easy service, charge per transfer, no restrictions in size and, most importantly, no subscriptions. Before getting a price quote for my transfer, I noticed a warning the service doesn’t work on Macs. Talked to the other side and they said it’s ok, but if they didn’t have both systems, I could’ve had a problem. No complaints about anything else, charge was reasonable, upload was smooth.
