I've never used a VPN service before, so two years ago, after extensive web research I decided to go with expressvpn. The deciding factors for me were the type of router that I had in my possession at that time (Netgear) is compatible with the expressvpn list of compatible routers. Anther deciding factor was the higher number of VPN locations near me than the other VPN options. Lastly, of course, minimal impact to internet speed is still important. Globally Connected

Great for language learning
Express has made it possible to watch my favorite anime on Netflix, Dr. Stone, since i don't have any other streaming platforms beyond Netflix and Disney+, saving me tons of money lol. It also allows me more content on YT and Netflix for me to watch while learning French. There are a lot more France-based content creators than I had been lead to believe while watching USA YouTube.
