What do you like best about Epic? I use epic in the context of my work in IT. It only took about 2 hours of formal training to figure out the necessary aspects required for my job, mostly in Beaker. It’s customizable so I can set it up with the tabs I use most. The dashboard is a great “home screen” where I can get to my favreports and find patient specimens quickly. "Fairly easy to use"

What do you like best about Epic? I like that you can look up payment history fairly easily and find the information. What do you dislike about Epic? There are little things like if you click f8 when posting it takes you to the patient account but not that particular ctp and date. You have to go copy and past the account number then put it in. What do you like best about Epic? Easy interface, search features, separate patient tabs and fields are straightforward. Allows me to get to desired entry quickly. Snapshot feature is great for a quick overview. The patient photo is very helpful to have. What do you dislike about Epic? Needs improvement with personal customizations. What do you like best about Epic? I like that Epic has pretty easy navigation within the system. What do you dislike about Epic? I don't like the layout and how my notes do not automatically book appointments in my schedule. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? We used Epic for documenting. It is also used as a scheduler and a way to keep track of employee's time spent and availability.
