"Expensive, but getting better"

What do you like best about Epic? It is great that there is a better way to host patient records. Makes it much easier to find information and identify patient records. What do you dislike about Epic? It is an extremely expensive system and doesn't always work when trying to communicate/work with users outside of the Epic ecosystem What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? Moving to electronic health records and being able to store/access patient charts online.

The charts seem cluttered at times when things don't delete and it can get frustrating. What do you dislike about Epic? Why fix what isn't broken is what I say. What do you like best about Epic? the functionality of Epic is the best in the industry. Its the cream of the crop and doctors and admin choice. What do you dislike about Epic? The learning curve can be quite steep especially if it's your first time using an emr. Recommendations to others considering Epic: Invest in training. Lots of training for staff and admin. What do you like best about Epic? Epic is user friendly, consistent and visually easy on the eyes. I would consider not accepting jobs in the future if they did not use Epic. What do you dislike about Epic? I think there are unnecessary upgrades at times (Why fix it if it ain't broke) and then everyone has to get used to the new Epic.
