"Epic is too difficult for daily use."

What do you like best about Epic? I like that Epic allows a lot of customization, allowing you to create your favorite order sets. What do you dislike about Epic? Epic takes a long time to set up your personalization and if you do not do so, it is extremely difficult to find anything you need. It is not laid out in an effective manner. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? Epic has a to do basket, allowing the office to send messages and assign tasks to other individuals.

What do you like best about Epic? First off, Epic EHR is like, the best way for healthcare providers to connect in regards to patient profiles. I particularly think the InBasket feature is the best method of contact, especially for busy providers. What do you dislike about Epic? One thing I think could be streamlined better is what is 'searched' through when looking for a particular word when looking at a patient's snapshot. Also WHY DOES IT LOG YOU OUT SOOO QUICKLY! What do you like best about Epic? How concise the charting is for nurses. It takes way less time, and it is very easy to review notes, labs and previous nurse's charting. The spreadsheet is a very clear format. It is easy to learn, and easy to communicate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on it. I can communicate with doctors and pharmacy easily with Epic. Very organized for patient care, able to edit patient appointment information for updates on arrival times and needs to be seen/urgent What do you dislike about Epic? What do you like best about Epic? I like the ability for all departments to use one system. Everyone can see there portion on the patient visit and can interact through one system! What do you dislike about Epic? That all healthsystems will not link. Assess is position based. So many embedded screens and not friendly to find all information. What do you like best about Epic? Very user friendly. Everything is in one spot and you don’t have to shift back and forth. What do you dislike about Epic? Training before it was time to introduce epic to our workplace was so long. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? Streamlining data, preventing redundancy, preventing common mistakes. Benefits are; less stress, more productive employees, convenientl, less room for error.
