What do you like best about Epic? Epic is really fantastic and has a lot of great uses in the clinical setting. The software allows for multiple ways to complete charting and also has easy-to-use features for referrals, messages, and more. What do you dislike about Epic? The preference lists and order sets are not specific and have to be set by you. Recommendations to others considering Epic: Make sure to see how other hospitals have customized epic before getting it. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? What do you like best about Epic? It’s pretty straight forward to use while at work. What do you dislike about Epic? If someone has patient information open, you can’t check the patient in. What do you like best about Epic? Epic has everything you need for the patient right at your figure tips. There is no searching or shifting through screens to find something. What do you dislike about Epic? Epic doesn't have great hot keys. I personally use hot keys more than my mouse on windows devices. So I see that as a major flaw. The charts and flow sheets are easy to view and find the data You need quickly What do you dislike about Epic? Formatting is sometimes difficult while writing a note.
