"Epic is great!"

What do you like best about Epic? I find it to be very intuitive and it does not disrupt my workflow. It did not take long to learn, there are a million ways to do the same thing, and there is always an option to include a blank note. What do you dislike about Epic? My current hospital uses a version of this product that isn't as good for assessment as the last hospital I was at. We are using an outdated version. What do you like best about Epic? EPIC is the best EHR system in my experience relative to other EMR systems. What do you dislike about Epic? It can be slow at times and boggy. What do you like best about Epic? It is very useful for managing hundreds of patients in an office setting. It was easy to find patients with similar disease states. What do you dislike about Epic? It is not as beneficial in caring for those in a private clinic Recommendations to others considering Epic: I think that Epic is very useful in the hospital setting; I have used both Epic and Athena Health, and find Athena Health better for clinics, and Epic better for hospitals. Tools to communicate about patients with outside sources and ease of access to medical records and understanding of patient's historical data

What do you like best about Epic? Been using epic once joining CHOP in 2012. It’s a very useful tool in all aspects. What do you dislike about Epic? Could have a better interface and sometimes you have to login several times before having access. Recommendations to others considering Epic: Very useful! What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? It’s a great tool. I use it to access patients medical history and relevant info whenever needed.
