"Using Epic"

What do you like best about Epic? Epic has a lot of really great features— scheduling, looking into patients charts, highlighting allergies. The functionality of this EMR is better than a lot of others I’ve experienced. What do you dislike about Epic? Sometimes it’s slow and bulky to use— can’t transition quickly from one patient to another. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? It’s easy to stay in epic for everything without leaving— emailing, scheduling, charting, etc.

What do you like best about Epic? I like that everything is catergorized. That makes it super easy to find what needs to be charted. What do you dislike about Epic? After using Epic for a year, I don’t think there’s anything that I don’t like. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? Provides an easy way for nurses, doctors, pcts, therapists to communicate and chart anything that’s going on with the patients.

What do you dislike about Epic? Whenever EPIC has updates (which as of late, has been happening more and more) .. it adds a lot of unneeded work.
