It's very difficult to recover eclipse if update fails. It's very mature bug still unsolved. Eclipse's internal build system for c++ changes configuration by itself. What do you like best? The best thing about the eclipse is, It is the mother IDE for all the IDE's. It is simple, lightweight, and consumes a small amount of CPU. It has GIT integration too, my java trainer used to upload java programs on git and we can pull those programs in our IDE.
