Dynatrace pros and cons

  • By providing real-time data with detailed breakdowns, Dynatrace allows for quicker identification and resolution of performance issues, reducing downtime and improving service reliability.

  • Dynatrace measures every step of the user experience, allowing businesses to track all aspects of application performance across the entire user journey, not just isolated metrics.

  • With intuitive and context-aware dashboards, Dynatrace presents data in a way that’s easy to understand, making it simpler for teams to spot and address performance bottlenecks.

  • The software automatically captures comprehensive application data, including beyond the standard metrics, providing deeper insights into performance and helping businesses address issues proactively.

  • Dynatrace’s pricing may not be affordable for smaller businesses or startups, as it’s designed more for large enterprises, making it less accessible for budget-conscious organizations.

  • Due to its comprehensive monitoring capabilities, Dynatrace can be resource-heavy, potentially putting a strain on system performance, especially in environments with limited resources.

What do you dislike? all fits to my expectation, just needs time to analyze data. price is higher if compering with another APM tools, but the results that Dynatrace gives to user I think It's ...

Excellent Company with Excellent Products

What do you like best? I love the focus on the business/customer. I love the proactive approach. What do you dislike? false alerts; on synthetics screen if I want to edit all tests - I have to do 100 at a time. That's very time consuming and seems unnecessary. Recommendations to others considering the product: If at all possible - find the money in your budget for this product. It is certainly worth the money and pays for itself in time/money spent troubleshooting What ...

An invaluable tool that makes my job so much more efficient

What do you like best? The Davis AI gives us the ability to work on more meaningful work, rather than chasing down problem after problem. It also has drastically reduced our MTTR as well What do you dislike? We feel that some of the pricing models should be adjusted. Both the custom metrics and synthetic monitoring (On-prem only checks) are quite high. For example - When we are doing Synthetic checks witin our own Datacenter, we should not be charged the same as when doing checks using ...

Ou ServiceNow integration is broken and need some dev effort to populate the ServiceNow and also ServiceNow development for mapping the assignment groups.
