Drupal is a great beginner platform
What do you like best? Easy to use. User friendly interface. Configurable. What do you dislike? Not as plug and play as other platforms. Doesn't integrate with as many tools as wordpress, for example. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Many compliments on the flow of the site using Drupal.

How open source software like Drupal can benefit you.
What do you like best? Drupal's best asset is the open source software in which it is built upon. This allows you access to a plethora of modules that are customizable and free (or near free. With the Drupal community, you can customize your website with any amount of cool widgets and add-ons... don't create anything, someone already did... all you have to do is search for it. What do you dislike? Open source software is only as strong as it's community. For example, you may have used a ...

It's cool, but...
What do you like best? It's a very very cool platform, which has the highest level of flexibility if you know what you want to do and how to do it. You can basically achieve anything with the countless modules, and everything is for free. Moreover, it has a very strong and established community, where you can always get help. What do you dislike? As an amateur user, I found Drupal very hard to start and maintain. It took me a while to understand where and how to do every basic things. And ...

Perfect for Complex Information
What do you like best? If you can dream up a use case, you can probably build it in Drupal. This CMS is a powerhouse that allows you to create custom data entry templates (called content types to capture all your data. Then you can use Views to sort, filter, and search your textual content. Views is also powerful enough to handle some layout options. However, I would recommend using Display Suite for building layouts based upon content types. What do you dislike? The learning curve for ...

Drupal CMS
What do you like best? I am told Drupal is more stable than wordpress, and that it is more suited for larger organization websites. What do you dislike? The backend (for admins is complicated, and not intuitive, the set up of modules and nodes is cumbersome and implementation of these is outdated, the front-end also doesnt come close to delivering a decent UX. I guess it could work for sites that spend 100k plus to have their site developed but then the time it takes to train staff to use ...

A Robust CMS with a Learning Curve
What do you like best? This is a very robust CMS system. One of the best features is that it is easy to install, and has LOTS of options. It's one of those things where for the experienced person, having tons of options is better, but if you are a beginner, it might not be for you. Good: Has one of the most features for a FREE CMS Good anti-spam features The ogranic group module is great Has great tag clouds Powerful permission system Good community (as one of the largest CMS ...

Wordpress writer trying to use drupal
What do you like best? I don't know anything about the open-source system drupal uses, but I would imagine this is the main selling point. Many users talk about flexibility and ease of use. From a content perspective with limited coding experience and years of work with wordpress, I can't say Drupal is easy or flexible, but it is different and provides a more current/modern flavor to the content I produce. What do you dislike? It's impossible to find articles. Tagging and searching for ...

I use Drupal daily to manage content for a large, sports-themed site
What do you like best? Drupal's ability to manage content directly on a page is its best feature. I don't have to hunt around in the back end looking for an obscure headline list if I want to add or subtract content. It's as easy as opening a page in edit mode and then adding or removing the item. This comes with a caveat, however, as it's difficult to find the content you want. I'm more of a content manager than developer, but the developers seem to like the open-source nature of the ...

Modular, customizable, moderately challenging
What do you like best? Lots of existing modules for pretty much anything you would want to add to a website, including the ability to develop custom modules to support internal business users and tasks. What do you dislike? Updates haven't always been the most seamless things in the world and it's too easy for implementations with multiple developers working on them to get spaghetti-like, clunky and slow. Seems to have rarer security issues than Wordpress but updates are critical. ...
