Fine for what it is
What do you like best? Flexible. Can bring in modules others have created easily. What do you dislike? Not very intuitive for non-technical users who are trying to use the CMS. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Content management systems for publishers that are scaleable and flexible.

Efficient and easy to use
What do you like best? I've used Drupal for over two years now. It was an excellent choice for my organization's website. I find this content management system to be extremely easy to use and reliable. No glitches or defects. What do you dislike? I can't think of anything I dislike about Drupal. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? A program of the organization I work at is currently undergoing a redesign of their website. Drupal was ...

Drupal is just ok
What do you like best? I like that updating a webpage is like filling in a form. This makes it easy for less tech-savy colleagues. What do you dislike? I dont like that I cant make updates to it without help from our 3rd party tech team. I wish it was easier for me to manipulate on my own. I like Word Press better. Recommendations to others considering the product Go with Word Press What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? WE needed any ...

Not easy to use for the common user
What do you like best? I am not sure. It's so difficult to navigate and set up. I prefer WordPress. What do you dislike? Everything, the UI is not very easy to follow, there are hidden capabilities that are difficult to find and figure out how to use. We have become so dependent on an agency because of these challenges. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The website is nice, however has required a lot of customization and therefore ...

Web content management
What do you like best? I began using Drupal in November of 2015 through our agency's internet site and we recently implemented it for our intranet site. The tool is great for those without HTML or advanced web site design experience. The ability to limit rights and roles and assign publishing access is essential. What do you dislike? If you have previous experience with other content management systems like DotNetNuke, you may be disappointed in the built in modules and infrastructure. ...

It's about time you ditch Wordpress
What do you like best? I can't express enough how much I love how robust this system is compared to the other leading CMS providers. What do you dislike? Given how "robust" the system truly is, if not handled properly, then the system can get bogged down and run like a hog. Recommendations to others considering the product If you don't handle this properly, then the website will run slow for you. Make sure you speak with your server provider and make sure they can setup what you need, ...

Way better than Wordpress!
What do you like best? Drupal definitely has a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it is hard to look back. When I first started using Drupal with my old company, I learned how to use it and got a website launched in 5 months. There is a module for almost anything you want to do, and that is so awesome! What do you dislike? There is a definite learning curve, although not too bad. It can also be hard to figure things out. Also, Drush can be annoying as well. What business ...

Great platform
What do you like best? Interface, easy to use, free (can't beat that! What do you dislike? Upgrading security patches is a bit of a pain, and the number of available plugins is staggering. And backwards compatibility can be a bit of a challenge to deal with. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure you start with Drupal 8's most updated iteration, and be prepared for a lot of patches before implementation. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Good if you are looking for small, simple use cases. Not the right choice for us.
What do you like best? Rich community, many plug-ins, active development. I also like that they are investing in a way to do relatively easy and simple installations, which is getting better with each released version. What do you dislike? First of all, it is in PHP and our use cases unfortunately made it necessary to touch the code. Getting even a relatively small custom website to work as we wanted was quite an investment of time. Settings and configuration are a mess, to be honest, ...

Easy and intuitive
What do you like best? Drupal offers many widgets and modules that make managing our sites easy. While recreating functionality of existing modules is easy, creating the kind of new modules we need requires a developer. What do you dislike? Customization requires a developer, and some "blocks" and modules can be difficult to figure out their functionality. Trial, error and time sometimes required! Recommendations to others considering the product Have developers handy in case things ...
