I use Dropbox to share files with my offsite team in India

What do you like best? Easy of accessing the files from any type of device What do you dislike? The organization of files could be better- would like to see a grid style layout What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am solving the problem of needing coworkers to access files who don't always have access to our intranet. Storing the files on Dropbox ensures they can always get the files they need

Dropbox works well to backup files in a company that works remotely and all over the place.

What do you like best? I like that the settings for each folder can be customized so that clients can collaborate in some folders, so are just for specific in-house teams and others are just for myself. It is also faster and more reliable than a lot of other options that go down often. What do you dislike? I wish the free version was a little larger as far as storage. When collaborating with clients, this is where we run into some issues, in that they don't want to upgrade but their ...

Dropbox Business Review

What do you like best? Ease of Use - The interface is intuitive. Sharing, uploading and downloading is very simple and easy to learn. Distributing access if very easy. What do you dislike? Storage capacity and pricing can be a pain to deal with. The history of security breaches makes this platform difficult to use and adhere to our security guidelines. Recommendations to others considering the product: Consider your security parameters. We migrated off of dropbox due to federal security ...

When it Works Correctly Dropbox is Brilliant

What do you like best? It allows me to easily move files around, create folders and keep the files in a safe place. What do you dislike? Syching is sometimes very difficult to achieve between all users. I have had files hang up for days without synching which slows the team down since we can't all easily access something. Not being IT people we need access to simple non-jargon responses to our issues. "Help" has not been much help. They must learn to speak to non-IT people because we are ...

Easy to use basic design

What do you like best? I like how easy Dropbox is to use. It seems like it's a universal program that many people use already, so using it for business seems to be go-to for many people across several industries. It is very straightforward, and I like that you can share and hide different folders and keep everything online, not just for file transferring. What do you dislike? I honestly can't think of anything that stands out that I dislike. Recommendations to others considering the ...

Review of dropbox for business

What do you like best? Easy to access from all devices. Relatively low cost. What do you dislike? You can share files and folders with Dropbox users regardless of whether they're part of your Business account, but external users are limited by their plan's storage limits. For example, a user with a free 2GB account won't be able to accept a 3GB shared file. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Document sharing and collaboration has become ...

Does the job but alternatives are becoming more attractive

What do you like best? Ease of use. Once it's set up it runs without problems. What do you dislike? WAY too many versions and options. I have an IT background and quickly go "tilt" when I start trying to decipher all they have available today. Recommendations to others considering the product: OneDrive for Business is a very viable option that may be 'free' depending on your subscription with Microsoft. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

File Sharing with DropBox

What do you like best? DropBox enables me to transfer large drawing files with my sales reps and with customers. What do you dislike? There are other sites that will provide the same that don't require sign in info. Recommendations to others considering the product: Highly recommend if access to files is important for your customers. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? In our industry it is adamant that we have the capability to share large ...

Drop Box - Project Document Repository

What do you like best? Drop Box for Business is easy to use, secure, offers granular permissions by user, and provides 1TB of storage which is more than enough space for any project. What do you dislike? Collaboration is still limited by traditional software features so file versioning may be critical when working with teams. This is one area where Google documents, sheets, and Presenter have an edge. Recommendations to others considering the product: Drop Box is a great way to move ...

Dropbox Gives Us Easy Access

What do you like best? The ability to access my files from anywhere and have collaboration with my team even though we aren't located in the same place. Syncing is fast. Love the desktop app above and beyond Microsoft OneDrive because of the ability to view shared files. What do you dislike? I would like to improve the conflicted copy issue.. perhaps make it an option whether to edit a document before it automatically makes a conflicted copy just for viewing the document. Increase the ...
