I HAVE ALREADY BEEN DISPUTING 9 MONTHS OF CHARGES ON A FREE ACCOUNT AND YOU PEOPLE TAKE OUT MORE? I DON'T THINK SO. REFUND ALL MONEY TAKEN OUT SINCE FEBRUARY 2021. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY. I'M NOT EVEN SURE HOW YOU GOT MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION. SKETCHY

huge problem when you move to another country
Dropbox was a good software some years ago. Then, it started to induce users to pay for Dropbox Plus and made it impossible to change the currency you pay for. This is a big problem for people who move to another country. Even when you enter your new your credit card information in the country you moved to, it still does not allow you to change the country you are in or the currency you pay for. It took hours for me to try and learn that it is not possible. I am thinking of leaving Dropbox now.

got the free version and it took over…
got the free version and it took over the desktop computer completely. This in my opinion is not a safe procedure. Dropbox should work from the web like some email clients do. uninstalled dropbox, searched for relate files and deleted but they've hidden files that access your whole device. BAD PRACTICE DROPBOX INC

There has to be something better out there
Our business has had Dropbox for 5 plus years. I will never recommend to anyone else. The service itself is downgrading with weird sync issues. Plus - it is almost impossible to get support via chat or phone without sacrificing an hour of one's time. It is frustrating and insane and I can't imagine we'll be re-upping when our contract runs out this year

Useless when handling large media files, always hangs with one second to go, changed to a different service

Absoluter Dreck.,Ich warte seit einer Stunde darauf, dass eine 62 KB große Datei synchronisiert wird.Ich hab zwar nur eine 100 MBit-Leitung, aber so langsam sollte sie heruntergeladen sein.Danke Dropbox. Ich würde gerne weiterarbeiten....

Dropbox used to be really good.
Dropbox used to be really good up to about 2 years ago, then I noticed it was practically uploading all my hard drive. I couldn’t stop it. I tried everything to try and get it to upload only the estimates and invoices I needed for business. But no do. I then realised it was forcing subscription. So that was the end of that. I use iCloud now which is good enough for me and doesn’t cost much.

Good product, horrible service
We are a small business with 14 people and have been using dropbox since 2007. I find the product itself to be excellent and it syncs files across all machines in different states. However, the super weak link is support. The software stopped syncing almost 30 days ago. Number emails, calls, etc with support rendered zero results. I even called HQ in San Francisco to complain, no response. I finally got everything resolved with our contract IT company, but that was spendy.

customer service is impossible
I had a trial with dropbox and ended it before the trial date ended and still got charged 119.trying to get in touch with a human was impossible.I was able to chat with a rep through my business account but they said I could not be refunded with no explaniation DO NOT TRUST THIS SERVICE
