Ridiculous rules and excessive customer punishment policies
I have paid for Dropbox Professional for the last 3 years. However, I'm now looking for better options. Dropbox's ridiculous file sharing limits, punishments for breaking their limits, and lack of support around this issue have forced us to leave. I would NOT recommend dropbox to anyone. We got frozen out from file sharing three days ago for an undisclosed amount of time (we are still frozen) simply for reorganizing our files within their system. Habe noch nie so schnell und unkompliziert ein Abo kündigen können, wie hier! Und sofort auch die Bestätigung bekommen! (Kündigung nur, weil ich es halt einfach nicht mehr brauche - nicht, weil es nicht funktioniert hat oder so...) Also - vielen Dank für so einen transparenten und fairen Service!

I recieved our annual renewal invoice…
I recieved our annual renewal invoice on Saturday 4/17/2021. I called in to change the number of licenses because due to COVID we had a reduction in team members. The box answer returned was that we needed to notify them 30 days in advance that we wanted to alter the number. So we are forced to pay for 11 unused licenses. NO CONSIDERATION that we were not given a statement 30 days prior. HORRIBLE company practices.

I can't say enough bad things about Dropbox
I can't say enough bad things about Dropbox — if I didn't have a lot of files I need to host for a lot of people, I would pull the plug in a second. The UI is terrible, unclear and illogical — and hasn't been upgraded to a more helpful and user-friendly since it first started. The basic Mac Finder OS has had three times as many options for how to sort your files, for example, almost 40 years ago — and a ten year old could figure it out in a half-hour. Been a paying customer for many years - never had good customer service, but I didn't need it much so it wasn't a big problem. Now for no reason, no explanation - they just deleted my account.Everything gone.

After 10 years of using paid dropbox service, I am done, never again use Dropbox. Even with a paid service, they do not have live customer service, just bot replies. They disabled my account for no reason. I sup tin 6 service tickets and not replay for 12 days. The auto-reply said to use "Dropbox Community" to get help from one of their dropbox ambassadors.
