Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service, good product.I've had DB for 9+ years, and only now I received an email stating that for creating excessive traffic, my account is banned for 24-48 hours. They won't provide any more information or reasoning, which is absurd.I have a paid subscription with unlimited downloads per day, but that aside, I have clients who can no longer access the files due to the ban. Don’t even bother with Dropbox. They’re such a piece of crap. While their employees are treated very well and have plenty of benefits working there, it seems that it’s at the cost of customer service and overall service.I’ve used Dropbox when it first came out and used the student referrals (or whatever) to max out my space. What a bunch of greedy gougers

What a bunch of greedy gougers. I deleted tonnes of big files to stay under Dropbox's free limit. However, they still say my dropbox is full and are demanding I pay. And no, it's not from shared folders, nor is it from syncing with a desktop, neither of which I do. And yes, I did 'permanently' delete the files too, directly from within their browser/cloud/web interface. Diabolical

My contract renewed for a massive £1,500 and wiped all my desktop files. They then said they would call and did not, twice. Then I was delegated to a chat channel where they are not allowed to call you which takes forever. All in all, diabolically bad. The chat agent could help at least but for £1,500 a year its nice to actually speak on the phone for customer service, no?

Was conned by Praisemy pet to see a product via dropbox. CANNOT see the item prior to purchasing. Do NOT sing up to drop box as they obviously sell email addresses to hundreds of other companies. I now get roughly 100+ spam junk mail. Neither company is honourable. Praise my pet promise to include your pets photo in a calendar, but REFUSE to show the proof pages. Not good practice.

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Deciding to get Dropbox to keep our files altogether is an excellent thing for the business. It gives employees the capability to access and work on files even if they are at home or attending business trips. Also, Dropbox's transition was done smoothly; we never heard of complaints from the people around us.
