It has been good for basic use, but I have not used it to its full ability

What do you like best? I like that dotmailer gives us the ability to automate response email as well as build a path for our new incoming leads to go into. What do you dislike? For someone who did not have a huge background in email marketing, this platform has been harder to use and learn than the previous one I have used. Dotmailer integrated well with Salesforce.com

What do you like best? I loved the support we received when integrating Salesforce.com and DotMailer What do you dislike? Coordinating a time was a bit challenging with the time differences but the support I received was top notch What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? having more insight to how often and how far our marketing material reaches our customers have drastically improved since using DotMailer

A very user friendly platform

A very user friendly platform that can be easily utilised for your needs. The drag and drop area in the newsletter copy creation is simple and effective, however where dm gets clever in when the survey tools and automated campaign areas are used. The customer insight really is clear and concise. The support is top notch too.

Locked into contract, random price hikes, terrible customer service

Be careful when you sign up to Dotmailer. They lock you in to a 12 month contract, meaning you have to wait a year if you aren't happy with the service (which we aren't).Our monthly payments have just shot up from £90 a month to £218 - and we aren't even using the tool. We have had no notification that our monthly charges were increasing, and are still waiting on an answer as to why this is. The credit control customer service is terrible. I'm new to Dotmailer but the system seems very easy to use with a wealth of knowledge in the blog area. I have a great account manager who has been very helpful getting me started using the platform. I think I would benefit from face to face quarterly meetings on how we can improve.I'd like more information on training and how to get started. I have had a great experience working with Clare. She is very supportive and has scheduled in calls to ensure we have contact with her. I kknow that I can contact Clare and recieve a quick response.A great account manager!

Took too long to get the software…

Took too long to get the software working effectively, and initial installation representative was poor. To be honest, we had a few issues our end, but finally got resolved by a senior staff member. Account management good, but a long way to go until we get some ROI. Considering we are paying for a senior package, I would have expected an awful lot more in terms of service for the monthly cost.
