Great customization

What do you like best? The ability to be very hands on and customize. What do you dislike? A few features lacking, but they are constantly working and upgrading. Recommendations to others considering the product: More eCommerce focus than Mailchimp. Constant improvements. Entry level pricing for small business. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Customer retention. Abandoned Carts

Works well for my company’s needs

What do you like best? I like the ability to design email newsletters within Dotmailer by arranging text boxes, images, and spacers however I’d like. I also love how easy it is to set up programs and workflows. What do you dislike? I feel that the built-in templates could be a bit more modern, and I dislike that there is no way to automate your transactional emails into an address book (this has to be done manually). What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

Great platform!

What do you like best? It is easy to use, has options for segmentation. Also, what I really enjoy is - when my main marketing person is not available, I get an approval request if someone else is sending a newsletter. What do you dislike? I only use the general tabs so there is not much I don't like. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure you have your staff trained and try to implement as much as possible because there is a lot that Dotmailer can ...

Dotmailer

What do you like best? It's pretty easy to use and it's easy to find info on how to create campaigns or automation online. What do you dislike? At first it's not simple to catch all features included in the software... But again really easy to find all the info you need. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Mass emailing and customer segmentation in our email campaign.

Focused and reliable email client

What do you like best? The Inbox Preview feature is really unique, lets you get a better feel for how your campaign will look when it actually hits your customer's inbox. With a lot of other email clients you're left with just one preview and you hope that's how it looks on their end too. What do you dislike? I think the email creation UI can be a little confusing when you first start using it, but after a few times it starts to feel pretty straightforward Recommendations to ...

Dotmailer - Approachable API and friendly service

What do you like best? Nuk was our onboarding point of contact and was a great resource for us to be able to get up and running smoothly. She guided us through the process of our email ISP ramp up and ensured we stuck to schedule and had good content. What do you dislike? Not too many gripes but we ran a contest with Gleam and I reverted to using sendgrid for that because they had an integration available... What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Easy to use, and great customer support.

What do you like best? I love how easy the templates are to use, with a drag and drop toolbox application that is perfect for new or experienced users. We have taken advantage of the tailored toolbox for several of our emails. What do you dislike? There is not much we dislike. I suppose if anything, having even more personalized items available in the toolbox would be great. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Dotmailer, so far, ...
