Spotsaas Editor’s POV
DocSend is a document management and sharing platform built for sales, marketing, and fundraising teams. Its core strength is tracking and analytics—you can see who opened your documents, how long they spent on each page, and which sections generated engagement. This data feeds directly into follow-up decisions: if a prospect spent 3 minutes on your pricing page, ...Read more

Best Document Reviewing Software...Ever
What do you like best? Absolutely love this service. Easy to upload, generate links, and get feedback from our viewers. What do you dislike? Not much that I dislike, honestly! Waiting for an app to come out so I don't have to chunk around on the mobile browser. I wish I had a few more "free" views to really lock me into the service -- like how Slack pretty much makes it free for a super long time : But, everyone has to make money! What business problems are you solving with the ...

Great for any activity where you need to timely follow up on people
What do you like best? Timely notifications about visits to your documents let you know when and how to follow up. Also great stats on pages viewed and time spent on each page. What do you dislike? I wish it didn't present the PDF document with sideways slider transitions between pages, as it currently does. but this is a minor minor minor minor detail. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We've been using DocSend for fundraising ...

What do you like best? Very easy to use interface with great features and backed by an excellent customer service team. What do you dislike? Honestly, nothing. The product works great. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? External file sharing and tracking. Much easier for us to use than other similar tool.

Fantastic document sharing app.
What do you like best? DocSend is my go to document sharing tool for my startup, Bylined.me. We primarily share data with investors and prospects... knowing when and how they interact with the documents we share has been critical to our success. What do you dislike? I'm actually quite pleased with the product and don't have any dislikes. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? My company, Bylined.me, is a marketplace for unstock and ...

Great support team to match a solid product
What do you like best? I really like how they show stats per slide and the thumbnail so you easily can tell which slide is generating the most interest from readers. Additionally, I really find the email notifications to be useful. Gmail app plug-in is really smart as well. Beyond the product, the team has been very open to product feedback and have been very responsive to my questions. They set a great standard for what customer success should be. What do you dislike? Dashboard ...

Product People That Give a Genuine Shit
What do you like best? I love the value-add solution at the core of this product. The contact details gate and the analytics into every step of the user behavior cycle is so valuable for people using Powerpoints to sell or pitch their products or services. What do you dislike? Nothing really. One wish would be more themes for the display; an example would be the background by default is dark/black and so are the slides on one of my decks so it blends in almost a bit too much. But it's ...

Can't live without it
What do you like best? The single best feature I like about DS is the ability to collate data around which slides resonate most and least with prospects. It's one thing to know it at the account level. It's a game changer to see it across 40-50 views of the same presentation. What do you dislike? It's perfect for how I use it. I am sure there are improvements that could be made but nothing glaring IMO. Recommendations to others considering the product Stop wasting your prospects ...

DocSend definitely exceeded my expectations. Clean, simple and it gives you complete control.
What do you like best? The documents upload seamlessly, with none of the distortion I was seeing on the Slides app. The ability to have multiple access points to the same doc, with complete control is fantastic (access, stats tracking, etc. I was also very impressed with load time and viewing quality across ALL devices! What do you dislike? There is the potential for too much noise once multiple people begin viewing multiple docs, via different links. I haven't personally reach that ...

Great product for managing important presentations
What do you like best? It's helpful to see who opens a doc and when, so I know their interest level and when to reping them. The metrics on time spent on each page is interesting but not terribly actionable. What do you dislike? Would be great to to see more use stats on one page without scrolling down to the bottom of the screen. If you could just eliminate some white space and maybe use smaller fonts, I could get a better snapshot of the last 10 or 20 interactions. What ...

Absolutely Incredible to drive Any Deck Related Deal
What do you like best? The real time data component is awesome - watching a user walk through your deck in real time is amazing. The cumulative analytics is also on point. What do you dislike? One of the main things I dislike is how difficult it is to keep track of multiple decks, especially when some decks are subsets of others. This feature isn't well built out. Recommendations to others considering the product Get on the gmail integration, I found about it from this survey, and ...
