What do you like best about DiskStation? What I like best at this point is the security features of DSM 7.0. With multiple 2 step verification methods available as well as sign sign on. What do you dislike about DiskStation? I dislike that with the new version of DSM they don't allow packages that need root priviliages to run. What do you like best about DiskStation? I can back up all my important data here. I automatically back up the pictures on my phone with DS File mobile application. I think it's perfect for the end user. What do you dislike about DiskStation? Unfortunately, sas disk support is not available. What problems is DiskStation solving and how is that benefiting you? What do you like best about DiskStation? My favorite trick is to get a Synology Diskstation and buy them in pairs. Put them in Physically different places and have them sync. You can use the Disktation CloudSync tools or you can even just use basic Rsync which is nice so you can sync with other systems as well. Synology has its own office suite and all your data is "in house", so no additional charges and full control.
