"No-fuss Hosting"
What do you like best? I never feel like Digital Ocean is trying to upsell me. From the first day I signed up (I've hosted on DO for a year and a half) it's been about what I needed as a developer and not what they wanted to sell me. I've had fantastic uptime, and they're very communicative about any coming changes or maintenance that may affect me.

"Great for many different purposes, price and performance are best in class"
What do you like best? The pricing structure for DigitalOcean allows me to host almost anything I want—be it a test site for a week or two, a development environment, some Continuous Integration tooling, etc—on one of the low-end servers.

"DigitalOcean, great for the sysadmin/developer"
What do you like best? For 5$ a month, you get a popular linux distribution with 1 core, 512MB RAM, 20GB SSD drive and 1TB bandwidth. Its pretty crazy that you can run an Ubuntu instance for a year and only pay 60$.

"Best hosting I've ever had!"
What do you like best? For a ridiculous price, you will get plenty of CPU, RAM and SSD space (not a lot though, but that's totally understandable for the price). Choose your OS / distribution, and in about a minute, you're ready to go! You'll also have a very decent amount of monthly bandwidth. Server response time is great (25ms pings from Canada to server located in the USA).

"Great for Development"
What do you like best? Apart from business use, I use DigitalOcean very often to run test-environment VMs and web servers. Although you can't speak with their customer service through live chat, it's very easy to send in a ticket and they're quite responsive.

"Cheap and Fast. Unbeatable Documentation."
What do you like best? The low cost and the incredibly extensive documentation library. I've learned more Linux sever administration and application development and deployment from reading DO's documentation then literally anywhere else.

"Personal and Enterprise Use"
What do you like best? 1. Amazing price/performance ratio. In comparison to EC2, the same "size" instance gets much better real world performance.
