Refusal to cancel and refund an order that has not been delivered - UK Distance Selling Regulations

I wished I had read this site first!! Ordered £1,500 of laptop and support contract etc. The courier used by Lenovo and Digital River (their fulfillment agent) appears to have lost this in transit, and the courier has already raised a case number. RIP off company

RIP off company, constantly offering "free trials" then taking your money without asking, before the trial is up!! They even took money off me again when I had already paid and had 8 months to go still!! They used to be great and always used them, usually the free software, but they have got too big and too greedy.

Outrageously Poor Service

I purchased a Lenovo Idea Pad 330S 15” Platinum (Laptop) from Digital River. The order was placed on January 23rd, 2019 at a total cost of €679.99. The order number given is 8999392609. I received a shipping confirmation on the 24th of January, 2019. This should have taken 1-2 business days. UPS have confirmed the product was damaged in transit and will not be delivered. Digital River refused to give a refund until an investigation was complete. Which is frustrating but fine. I can confirm ...

Utterly Useless

For some unknown reason I cannot purchase software via their site. I have a genuine bank account/ credit card and a genuine PayPal account, they will not accept any of them. Other sites have no problem. When I email them using their 'support' site I don't get a reply. What sort of company is this? Why does it still exist? It is even more of a problem for the software developers, they're losing money because of these fools..

They are a scam

They are a scam. Money was taken from my Credit Card via PayPal. When I contacted them they said it was probably a family member who ordered the software and it's not their issue. They have not refunded the funds however PayPal have covered it - all credit to them for doing so. Hopefully they will put them on the fraud list and stop these low lifes ripping people off.

This company is a scam . Ive never even heard of them and they have managed to take 200 notes from my paypal account. Pay pal wont refund
