Worst consumer experience ever - avoid! On 29th April I placed an order for a T540 Lenovo gaming computer via Lenovo.com, the official Lenovo website. Item in stock with delivery in 1 to 2 working days. An update soon followed to say delivery, by DHL, would be made on May 4th. A legit company but used deceptively

While Digital River is most probably legit, the way they are used to charge people by other businesses can be downright deceptive and the communication is disastrous. Like antivirus software offering a free trial while not making it obvious enough in the fine print that the second month onwards is a paid subscription such you are left wondering what a charge is about. So no wonder they have a bad rating here and there's a post at the Paypal forums that has 15 pages of complaints going ...

Don't buy from or through them you may not be able to return your item

Don't buy from or through them - you may not be able to return what you bought if you need to. I have been trying for well over a year to return a battery that cost me £100. I bought the wrong battery for my laptop (happy to share the blame for that) but it has now taken me over a year to try and return it. Probably not very well staffed in the customer service department

Whoops, having to totally change my review as after over 2 weeks of silence I was suddenly contacted and refunded. Recap, I bought a product to test out, seeing there was a 30 day guarantee and it wasn't for me so sought refund. Now there is no easy way to contact them so had to fill out contact form on their website. Total silence. After 2weeks I received an email saying they were talking to the seller. A few days later they said I'd get a refund. So, not hopeless, but very slow.

I ordered 2 covers for Bluesound…

I ordered 2 covers for Bluesound speakers from who i thought was Bluesound but turns out to be Lenbrook / Digital River. I skin arrived, i sent email asking where the other one was to be told 2 were sent and signed for !!!! I explained that 1 box arrived with 1 skin in it. The tone of their emails changed to not believing my story and asking for pics of what i received and to ask neighbours if they had received a box even though 1 box was sent apparently with 2 skins in it !!!. I purchased a Lenovo laptop for 725 Euro

I purchased a Lenovo laptop for 725 euro (780 usd) and in the beginning i didnt read it correctly i thought the delivery was estimated 1-2 days but it was the package would be sent out in 1-2 days after the purchase. Selling items they don't have in stock. Zero support.

Order to be delivered within 2-3 weeks. Actual expected delivery date 8-9 weeks away. No communication from Lenovo or the unknown entity "digital river". A complete shambles.

Wish I had looked at these reviews…

Wish I had looked at these reviews prior to signing up with them. I am constantly being charged despite asking them to cancel. I have not received any reminder (this may be due to an old email address) however, they keep charging me. I have lodged support query twice and it is just ignored. Please don't sign up for this!

Best Avoided!

So I got pulled in by the cheap prices of the Lenovo online store and I thought it would be fine as it's supposedly "direct" from them....but it isn't. You have to go through this disaster of a company Digital River. I didn't realise at first untill I started reading the awful reviews and got worried. Just want my money back then good riddance

Purchased laptop directly from lenovo. Incorrect address labelling meant delay. Laptop arrived few days later than it should have, keyboard not working.
