Do not buy anything via this platform. If I could give this company zero stars I would. Having purchased a digital download on 2nd July via Digital River for a product that didn't work and the product owner agreeing to a refund, I contacted Digital River by phone and email several times. On the phone they tell me refund is being processed, by email they deny my refund with no explanation. I have now opened a formal case with the FCA.

If you a purchasing a product or digital product [download/ subscription] and Digital River is the payment processor, stay away. Do not go forward with the order. Once they process your payment your money will be gone forever. They do not honor stated refund policies at all. Read the reviews. You have been warned.

These A-holes need to go to jail!!! For more than a year they've been debiting my credit card, after I cancelled my subscription only two days after starting their useless service... Don't bother joining, they promise results, but don't give any!!! MF Nothing other than scammers!!!

Avoid this company like the plague. I had an auto-renewing subscription for Kaspersky Antivirus for a number of years. Recently the product started causing me connectivity issues that were difficult to diagnose. I decided to stop using it as I hadn't really gotten much use out of it anyway. The process for attempting to cancel the automatic renewal through Digital River was extremely painful and I am quite sure this was intentional. I am absolutely furious that my elderly mother has had funds taken from her account, without permission using a different company name. AVG was blocked from her bank account earlier this year. She has had no service, despite paying £149.97 in total. This is an absolute con. I agree, the lack of contact details is telling. Be very carful if using this company as…
The "auto-renewal" feature is something to be avoided. Auto-renewal not something I was expecting to come across as most companies are now well aware that buyers of good/services see this as a fraudulent practice. I did manage to cancel my subscription but it took time to get back into my account. Be wary of any company that uses auto-renewals, they are really hoping you forget to cancel and so keep taking your money each month. Remember, "ethical" companies don't use "iffy" practices.

Sharp practices. This company keep taking money from my account presumably for an Avast product I bought a long time ago. I have no email, invoice or order number so I don’t know how to reclaim the money. Impossible to contact. I finally found an obscure part of their website to ask for a refund but no reply. Avoid.

No way to cancel subscriptions!
Site looks like it was made in a basement in 1999. No straight forward way to cancel subscriptions. Do not respond to emails. Had to change my credit card info to stop the subscription. The product itself was fine and was delivered, but there needs to be a way to cancel subs!
