Seamless transition for SSMS users with feature-rich and intuitive interface.
Comprehensive feature set for efficient database management, including schema and data comparison tools.
Great tool for testing queries, managing data, and all DB admin tasks related to DevOps.
User-friendly interface with valuable features like autocomplete and intellisense.
"Edit View" feature can be clunky and limited, making direct SQL editing challenging.
Price may be on the higher side, although justified by the extensive feature set.

Excellent SQL Environment Tool!
What do you like best? LOVE all of the features this program has to offer. Especially the query builder and database sync tool. What do you dislike? A bit on the expensive side; but well worth it considering the amount of features it has. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I was looking for a tool that would help build SQL queries and assist in managing multiple MariaDB/MySQL databases and various tables.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good! dbForge made me good!
What do you like best? I like its ease of use and setup. It has an intuitive interface that makes it easy to do things. What do you dislike? I didn't have any problems with it so there is nothing I disliked. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I downloaded dbForge, initially, because during the restoration of a backup, the system glitched and none of our indexes were recreated. You can imagine the nightmare of having data ...

Best MySQL Management Tool
What do you like best? It's fast and stable. When working with MySQL I never need to leave the program. I have tried various other programs and nothing compares. Some of the other programs include; MySQL Workbench, DataGrip, and Navicat. I also do a good amount of work in SQL Server and they make an equally great tool for that (Separate product/purchase). It's great working between the two different platforms on a similar interface. What do you dislike? Not really a dislike, but ...

Intuitive MySQL tool for people who use SSMS daily
What do you like best? For the record I'm an MSSQL guy from way back, and SSMS is my friend. I've been using it forever, and I think it's perhaps one of the best free pieces of software on the planet given what you can do with it. I like MSSQL/SSMS so much, and I'm so stubborn, that I stupidly connect to MSSQL when I am doing PHP pages. I took on a new client recently, and they are a MySQL shop, so I had to find a tool where the learning curve wouldn't waste a lot of my time. I have ...

Boost and facilitate MySQL management
What do you like best? Ultimate software for management MySQL database. I get all differences between schemas, synchronize them, analyze customized reports in different file formats (HTML more often) as well as automate and schedule CLI execution. What do you dislike? Everything works great. Would like to have a native Mac version, although the Win version works seamlessly on Parallels desktop. Recommendations to others considering the product: Great solution, give it a try! ...

Reliable and constantly improving - has been our primary DB tool for many years
What do you like best? Feature set, robustness and reliability. The DB schema compare tool is very strong and handles difficult cases such as key and index changes very well. Support is quick and very professional. What do you dislike? Sometimes slow when running the comparisons. This I suspect is due to the fact that we am using a remote server setup over SSH. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you need a tool for your DB development, look no further - it ...

Very pleased with dbForge Studio
What do you like best? Coming from a popular web based MySQL, dbForge Studio is much more feature rich. I'm thinking about purchasing the dbForge Studio for SQL Server as well. I like the database design features as well as the seach functins. What do you dislike? I can't think of anything that I dislike about the software. Recommendations to others considering the product: Check out the Trial Version. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

A solid and full featured database tool
What do you like best? DB forge allows me to easily manage multiple database connections, makes query profiling and tuning easy, as well as lets me run detailed and thorough data comparisons across my databases to make sure they are in sync across environments. What do you dislike? It starts to struggle with databases with thousands of tables. Recommendations to others considering the product: Don't let the price scare you away. Compared to other free tools this pays for itself ...
