With powerful tools for monitoring and troubleshooting, Datadog APM simplifies the process of diagnosing and fixing performance issues across applications, which enhances operational efficiency.
Datadog sends real-time alerts when something goes wrong, enabling users to address problems immediately and prevent further disruptions.
Datadog APM offers proactive monitoring of complex, distributed systems, providing teams with the insights they need to prevent potential issues before they impact operations.
The platform enables faster identification of application availability issues, allowing teams to resolve problems quickly and minimize downtime.
While the platform provides detailed insights, the sheer volume of data generated can be overwhelming for teams without the proper filtering and configuration, making it difficult to focus on critical issues.
Datadog's pricing structure can be expensive, especially for smaller businesses, as costs can scale quickly depending on the number of monitored hosts and the level of usage.

A product that's easy on users.
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Setup was easy. The UI is simple and clean. User-friendly in a lot of ways. If you had expereience of StatsD/Grafana then you'll be glad how easy this can be. What aspects are problematic or could work better? One time, we moved our servers to another host. As a result, we had to pay twice as much for a few months since we didn't switch the Datadog agents on our older servers. It pays to be careful. Ask for further details if you ...

Sysadmin's regrets for not discovering this amazing product before
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? The ability to track and solve problems last minute was a decisive criterion when choosing an APM tool, and I'm frankly glad we narrowed the search to Datadog. The thing with Datadog is that the team behind it never stops adding value, and their graphs and alerts are constantly upgrading to adapt to the dynamics of your workline. You're not supposed to do additional entries, as the system relies on datacentres, hostnames, system types ...
