End-to-end solution for event management, covering in-person, hybrid, and virtual events.
Interface is accessible to all levels of users.
Integrates with external tech stacks via open APIs.
Manages events from sourcing and budgeting through to reporting in a single platform.
Limited custom features, which may be restrictive for users needing more control.
Complex setup and navigation initially, especially without proper guidance or support.

Excellent platform with subpar service
What do you like best? We have used multiple event management platforms, and Cvent is by far the best choice from a functional perspective. We use nearly every Cvent module, which helps tie all of our events together from start to finish -- unlike other systems we've used that are more piecemeal. The new website builder is a huge addition to its functionality, the sourcing module is a huge time-saver, and the mobile app (CrowdCompass has been a game-changer for our onsite attendee ...

An effective event planning platform
What do you like best? I like the different features available. However, I do wish more customizable features were available. What do you dislike? I wish there were more customizable options. For emails, the format is pretty bland. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Event planning restructuring. We have realized the benefits of how organized this process is.

Easy to set up and Flexible
What do you like best? I like that I can easily change the look of my website design. The new Flex version allows for a smoother workflow through the design stages of the pages. What do you dislike? It was a little tricky to find all of the places where I needed to make my changes in the new Flex layout. I think some of the locations of the elements are in strange places. I think they can make some changes to these areas so it is easier to manage events. Recommendations to others ...

Fine tuning to make it better
What do you like best? Customer service support was readily available with advices and suggestions. What do you dislike? Certain elements were not considered, eg, running of a detailed report could have used easier functions/navigation - select details to populate in a customised report by checking of boxes would have been a better UI/UX for me. Some of the design elements required web design hours, which defeated the purpose of cvent being a self-service web-based event ...

Flexible, Simple & Organized!
What do you like best? CVENT changed the game for NYSACOP’s Conference registration. The options are endless with colors, backgrounds, themes etc. My team manager, Samantha was absolutely nothing but amazing. She worked around my busy schedule and took the time to make sure every detail was perfect before our launch. A registration process has never been easier! What do you dislike? I have absolutely no complaints. The person assigned to your team is on top of everything, customer care ...

Large-scale non-profit event management
What do you like best? How easy it is to pull all of our collected information and invite reviewers to look over our abstract submissions. What do you dislike? It would be great to toggle information on the forms that submittors give to us but other invited reviewers (not from our company are unable to see for privacy concerns. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? solving how to best organize a lot of content submissions for multiple ...

Cvent - a time saver!
What do you like best? Cvent streamlines the event planning process by integrating many processes into one. What do you dislike? There is a steep learning curve to Cvent - prepare to have a formal process fro training new hires in the software, as many processes are not intuitive, and therefor take time to learn without proper training. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are able to eliminate possibilities of human error by managing ...

Easy way to advertise and event, keep track of participants

Checking participants in although the app is very handy. Recommendations to others considering the product: Be sure to download the app! What problems are you solving with the product?
