I can't say enough good things about this tax service. I mostly hodl, but I play around with defi etc, and I was dreading the tax process. Found CryptoTrader on a list of recommended crypto tax services. I was drawn to it because the list said it had an intuitive interface. The list was correct. A first-rate product that delivers flawlessly!!

When I realized I needed to report crypto activity on my 1040 return, I had no idea how to proceed. The files I downloaded looked like Greek to me. Your program made a seemingly impossible task impossibly simple. Thank you! Some of the sites are not set up to prepare those files easily quite yet, but that was really the only obstacle I encountered. Very easy to do

Very easy to do, done in a short period of time, ultimate goal is to get that 8949 form completed for your tax preparer. If your a heavy trader it may take a bit longer, all and all a very good app!

Cryptotrader.tax is the best. Fight me!

I first started researching web apps which would help me deal with crypto taxes. I did usual google search and reddit search and stumbled upon cryptotrader.tax. Since you can start for free, I imported all my trades and quickly got a preview of my capital gains. The documentation to import trades was crisp and to the point, with screenshots.
