What do you like best? Vector shapes are easy to work with, the way to adjust nodes is pretty friendly What do you dislike? The software seems stuck in time. First of all, no Mac friendly version in a decade for a design program is a big red light, or should be. Also, tons of trouble with colors when exporting to most formats. Adobe and Corel

What do you like best? Smaller file sizes. Handles gradients well. Good for creating vectored graphics. What do you dislike? Interface is not as user friendly as Adobe. Harder to locate some of the common task like selecting similar objects. Recommendations to others considering the product Pick the software that suits you. Corel can does the same things as Adobe illustrator for less money.

Great Assets for Multiple Uses

What do you like best? I like the tools and the variety of freedom that we can achieve developing in Corel Draw, as well as with it's integration with other softwares. Corel Draw is a great alternative to Adobe software

What do you like best? It's less expensive than the Adobe products. You can easily design illustration-heavy multipage layouts in CorelDraw, whereas in the Adobe software you'd have to be flipping back and forth between Illustrator and InDesign constantly. What do you like best? I've been using Corel Draw for some years now, being actually the second graphics software I've learned after Photoshop. What do you like best? You can output various types of files that can be optimized for the web, exported to pdf, etc. What do you dislike? The interface is not very intuitive, and the purpose of having a separate program with limited uses doesn't make a ton of sense - I can get everything I need from the Creative Suite. Recommendations to others considering the product If you want to get out from under the omnipresent Adobe empire, give it a go. It's what people used to use!
