Necessary evil

What do you like best? Since it is the most used software when it comes to non-professional users, it is definetely a must-have if you need to work with files prepared by other people. Some old school graphic designers also prefer Corel Draw, especially if they are really used to it, and are not interested in going through the effort of learning a newer, more effective vector illustration software. Therefore, even if you are an up-to-date professional graphic designer, it is important to ...

Corel Draw, The Uncrowned vector software

What do you like best? Corel is an excellent Graphics software, with a high level of export to multiple files. In its simplest qualities, it attracts me the flexibility and handling of your guidelines. To run it on a complex system like Windows, it is highly intuitive in its early stages. It is special to create complex shapes from scratch, so corporate image designers and digital illustrators will feel at home and they'll love it. In principle, the distribution of its pages is ...

Perfect for creating vinyl graphics

What do you like best? In my field I have had to create the occasional die-cut job and also full vehicle wraps printed on vinyl. Although my go-to program for vector graphics is Illustrator, CorelDRAW handles these specific needs much better. What do you dislike? There is nothing specifically that I dislike about the program, but I would however only use it for vector graphics and use other dedicated programs for page layout, web design, and photo manipulation. What business problems are ...

Intuitive Tool

What do you like best? I used to work with Corel Draw since 2004 and I learned to use it naturally. I guess is a tool easier to work with comparing with Adobe Illustrator and I fell more comfortable with it's dynamics. What do you dislike? Until the last version I used, Corel X3, the only thing I thougt that was necessary was a built-in photo editor like Photoshop. Photo-Paint wasn't very intuitive at that time. Recommendations to others considering the product I think it could be a ...

A great tool for any designer or creative professional or dabbler

What do you like best? I like that Corel Draw is simple to use, with tools and functions that are easy to customise and use by both beginners and experienced users. It has everything you need for graphics, from illustration to text layouts and a great interface that is very accomodating. What do you dislike? The effects like drop shadow or various transparency modes are not the best, and I need to go to other software for that most times. Recommendations to others considering the product ...

Fast and reliable tool for making product presentations, vector design and illustration.

What do you like best? I use CorelDraw as my main compositing app, for product visualization, brochures, banners, etc. Just throw in rendered images, text data and start working on the layout. The very flexible and intuitive interface and tools, make my workflow basically the same for very different pieces. Wheter it is a logo design, a brochure or a product visualization panel, te basic tools that I always end up using are Guides/Saps, B-splines, Tracer, Shape tool, SmartFill and ...
