Just got asked for a review for a recent purchase, and haven't purchased or used the software in years. It was great software 5+ years ago with a great pricing structure. I want to say it used to be $200 for a self hosted 1 tech site license, which was the bee's knees for my small shop. Then they were bought by another company and the price jumped over night to over $2k. I left them and never looked back. At 2k might as well use logmein. Impossible to upgrade, poor linux remote control support

Impossible to upgrade atm. Credit Card payment isn't working since two days. Sales/Support isn't answering.Beside the payment issue(s:Still poor linux remote control (agent? support. Already watching and testing alternatives because the linux remote control becomes more and more a pain.

Stay away!

Initially bought a license of/from DeskNow. ConnectWise bought DeskNow, and killed the product in every way possible. I have later switched to AnyDesk, and are more satisfied than ever. I still have problems with ConnectWise though: There are so many nagging emails coming from them! (Like now, when they insisted I should rate them here...

I was with them for 3 years. Full regrets.

I was with them for 3 years.What sold me on Connectwise was the high quality university, the training tools. The first year was good. Then they changed the UI without updating their university or training tools.They updated their taskflow rules.Things broke. They claimed the youtube videos they uploaded should show me what changed. Video was inadequate.Then in the 3rd year the Connectwise Automate broke, costing me reputation and man-hours with clients.Noone at Connectwise could fix their ...

A company that writes software but…

A company that writes software but doesn't support the end users when attacked, doesn't work with customers after the fact and has a we don't care attitude about remediating their own software ... I can't recommend ConnectWise in anyway. Find another solution ... ANY other solution.
