My day using Confluence

What do you like best? I love using Confluence. It's on the cloud which means anybody that has permissions can access it from any device. Our entire team uses Confluence for documentation. The business uses it to document the new and upcoming requirements on it. The developers add their technical notes and estimations against it, the BA and QA create tickets and test cases against it. It has a great search feature so you can search on topics. You can even tag users on the page. This way ...

Market leader in wiki software

What do you like best? Confluence is far and away the leader in wiki software. It's fully featured and now available via a cloud-hosted option. Recent releases have greatly improved the performance of the product for the end user. What do you dislike? Software can get somewhat complex at times, as it is geared toward larger organizations. Recommendations to others considering the product Unless you have a lot of users, the cloud-hosted option is a no-brainer. What business ...

Simple to use and effective

What do you like best? The interface is very user-friendly, it doesn't take someone with a lot of technical skill to be able to navigate and use the website to it's full potential. What do you dislike? Some of the features are kind of hidden out of view and needs a little bit of getting used to. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easy to use, affordable, and reliable.

Great Collaboration Tool

What do you like best? Confluence allows simp;e documentation of business requirements, which can then be directly linked to developer tasks in JIRA. Excellent versioning tool as well. What do you dislike? Confluence does not have a very robust word processing engine, though it is passable. Recommendations to others considering the product Be sure to take advantage of the user community. We've gotten a lot of great tips on plugins and best practices. What business problems are you ...

Good corporate database of knowledge.

What do you like best? Good UI, nice performance, good integration with other Atlassian tools like Jira and Stash. What do you dislike? There are no any disadvantages for me. It's a big, well established corporate system. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use as internal corporate database of knowledge where every team creates its own documentation.

Excellent Collaboration/Company Wiki Tool

What do you like best? Easy to use, easy to create and share information with other Confluence users in my company. I like the ability to create spaces, easily add new content, whether new pages or embedded attachments of other relevant files. What do you dislike? Sometimes the search functions turns up too many results. If all users would assign tags to pages, searching would be much easier. Recommendations to others considering the product Confluence is tightly integrated with ...
