Nice interface, but a bit of a learning curve from Redmine
What do you like best? Used Redmine for a number of years and recently switched to Confluence. The best aspect of it is the user interface - extremely clean and responsive, and easy to find what I need. What do you dislike? Some of the terminology differs a lot from Redmine, and the flowchart view confuses more than clarifies in my opinion. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Tracking development for an enterprise eCommerce site. ...

Our Team's Home Base
What do you like best? I like how customized Confluence becomes to my organization; It feels like it was made especially for us. It's easy to give everyone access to view and edit pages. What do you dislike? Once pages are created, they are difficult to organize differently. In our case, there are too many pages at this point to be completely usable and it will be quite the task to clean up. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Flexible and complete tool for issue management
What do you like best? The capacity to adjust the workflow and to configure the platform to organisation process. The platform is complete and allows a good management. Integrates with several platforms is a good feature. What do you dislike? The usability can be improved and more appealing. The reporting part may be improved having more standard useful reports . The testing part is weak - we had tried an add-in - zephyr and didn't work so well. What business problems are ...

Using Confluence for Organizing Blog Content
What do you like best? The ability to organize information across a page, across pages is stellar. The ability to add HTML elements within the page is the proper balance of knowing HTML and not needing to know HTML. When used in concert with larger teams and integrated with Jira, the tool really shines! What do you dislike? The Style Sheet and Editor sometimes takes a bit long to load, but this is often a network issues. The requirement to go into Edit mode is sometimes annoying (I ...

Love this for specs and requirements
What do you like best? I love the layouts they offer. We have 3 product managers and that means that our specs and requirements need to be very similar so there is consistency. Confluence offers layouts and really good organization so that we can keep all of our project specs organized by release. What do you dislike? If I want to copy and paste from confluence to JIRA it loses the formatting. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Fairly well featured information repository
What do you like best? Has the organizational design to be a master resource when properly used and maintained. Definitely can be a go-to instruction manual, making it easier for new employee onboarding. What do you dislike? Stale information isn't purged or marked automatically. Like all socially-constructed information repositories, it's only as good as the resources maintaining it. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Coming ...

great collaborative tool for support and development
What do you like best? Confluence is great as it ties into JIRA and all other Atlassian tools (which you can use for any type of software development firm and you can use it for support and requirements documentation as well as create it as a collaborative place to input ideas and show progress of projects. Also a great place to put your meeting notes or even create a page for your team to combine helpful docs or share information. What do you dislike? The formatting options are not ...
