Great in theory, takes some time to organize
What do you like best? It's super flexible, intuitive, and user friendly. Everyone at our company uses it to update with their specialties. I like that the programming is universal, and that it has smart features (like the ability to insert a link to a page within Confluence. The 'favorite' feature could do a better job with bookmarking, but the home pages are a blessing. What do you dislike? The archiving and organizational structure is not easy to use. I feel like Confluence needs a ...

Awesome Tool for Organizing Internal Resources
What do you like best? My company uses Confluence to organize EVERYTHING, so it's a one-stop shop for getting my questions answered. I like that Confluence makes it easy to organize information in a central location, and that all users can edit pages to keep them up-to-date for everybody. What do you dislike? Sometimes the user experience feels a bit busy, but that's probably related to the amount of information we store there. Mostly, I wish it were a bit more intuitive. Oh, and that ...

Easy experience for beginner-intermediate users
What do you like best? If you are a newbie or have limited experience with similar tools and functionality, it is easy to understand how to add tables, create linkages and sub-pages, and to link to other programs (e.g. JIRA to track important stories and progress for projects. What do you dislike? Sometimes it is monkey when formatting for a table and you cannot set the width without some manual effort. Also, I wish more integrations with additional programs were an option. What ...

Confluence Is A Great Collaboration Tool
What do you like best? It's easy to use, pretty intuitive and easily managed throughout the organization. You are able to set permissions appropriately so that everyone has their role and ability to post and edit as required by their role. There are a great number of plugins that allow you to add details creatively to pages as well as allow for better search and readability of the pages. What do you dislike? Formatting can sometimes be challenging with new lines and html formatting. ...

Confluence as documentation for development platforms
What do you like best? The ease of use to create content. Often systems are too cumbersome to use, and thus people shy away from actually using them. Confluence makes creating and editing content easy and fun. What do you dislike? The licensing makes it a bit of a barrier to sharing content with others in the company who don't have a login. You can generate static versions (download PDF, for example but not provide read only links. What business problems are you solving with the ...

A good tools for KB
What do you like best? It is relatively easy to use. I and/or my colleagues can add entries to document various technical processes we do. And it's fairly easy to search for and through these articles. The UI is fairly straight forward, which makes it fairly easy to pick up if you haven't used it before. What do you dislike? There is not much I can say that I really dislike about it since it is fairly easy and simple to use. Maybe I can say that i dislike how the organization of the ...

Confluence review
What do you like best? Attaching document and screen shots so that they appear in the form of a web page. What do you dislike? The test editor in confluence is not as robust when it comes to font sizes and styles. Like MS Word better for text editing. But again I don't expect confluence to be Word. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Sharing documents and information within the team.

We use Confluence as our internal WIKI
What do you like best? It is very easy to write and focus on the writing instead of formatting. What do you dislike? Some of the widgets that allow you to embed diagrams and documents have different methods for inserting that item - some of them the item has to already exist in the other product and other the item has to be created from the widget itself. Recommendations to others considering the product Prior to using Confluence we saved documents in various shared folders and lots ...
