Wiki, Intranet, Knowledgebase, etc
What do you like best? Confluence is a flexible solution that not only allows admins to use it how they wish, but also users. It seems as though each user in our organization has their own way of using it, and that's just fine by us. What do you dislike? We have noticed that upgrades have a tendency to break things, but not keeping up to date leaves you vulnerable to attacks. Recommendations to others considering the product Determine whether you want to take on the cost and hassle ...

Great collaboration and content management tool
What do you like best? The tool is very easy to learn and use. And being a wiki at heart, it strongly encourages collaboration, which greatly helps with adoption. It's content authoring experience is also fantastic, with a very flexible and easy to use editor, catering to both new comers and experienced power users alike. It also has a wide range of 3rd party add-ons that help to extend what the product is able to do, making the tool even more flexible. You can use it as a wiki (as it ...

More than a repository, which gives flexibility but complexity
What do you like best? I like how we're able to build collaborative workspaces and have content that the team can build together - text, images, discussions and documents. What do you dislike? On the flipside, it's easy to get lost if you don't understand the organizational structure, making it difficult to find things - which is true for any collaboration repository solution with some level of depth. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure you need a ...

Best way to document Best Practices
What do you like best? Ease of use for newbies. I'm a veteran of the software, so I appreciate that new users can jump in and start contributing without my assistance. As a power user, I like to share the other options with folks once they've gotten their feet wet. What do you dislike? What I dislike is harder to answer. Sharing pages is awkward and the resultant emails do not stand out to users such that they know the importance of the share. People don't understand the importance of ...

Could be a good tool
What do you like best? Features available and the integration with JIRA (currently used by our team. What do you dislike? Wasn't as user intuitive as anticipated when initially creating sections (pages; this could have been the way it was set up for our team. I experienced frustration trying to utilize some of the key features our team was interested in (I was self-training. Unable to modify documents within the application; incompatible with editing Word documentation. What ...

Knowledge is useless unless shared
What do you like best? It's excellent in how it ties into all of our other tools from Atlassian. The whole suite together allows for easy knowledge sharing and tooling. What do you dislike? The UI is still a bit clunky and dated for this point in time. It'd be nice if we could easily customize it. (I know you can, but it's certainly not easy. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Data sharing and ensuring all of our documentation ...
