Confluence for the non-technical role
What do you like best? Confluence search feature is quite nice. Even when searching word docs or PDFs that have been uploaded they can easily be founds. I also like the way you can organize different layouts and systems. What do you dislike? I dislike that the system is not very intuitive. I think there may be better user friendly systems out there for non-technical people. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure that you have a technical person familiar with ...

Great Place to Keep Information Company-wide
What do you like best? Confluence really keeps our company connected. Rather than having to reach out to stakeholders of a certain department or project, Confluence gives you the ability to find information on your own. It also allows us to collaborate with the team, each from our own computers. What do you dislike? In my opinion, the part that could use the biggest upgrade is the search feature. It helps to structure your account correctly to make it easy to navigate, but sometimes ...

Easy and secure for company materials
What do you like best? Confluence gives our company access to any files, folder, and proprietary information that we might need, at any given time. It's great for keeping all records up-to-date and not using old and dated files. Additionally, it's great for team collaboration on larger projects, that's accessible to the given team, but can delegate who has access to these files. I specifically like the versioning. What do you dislike? What I don't like about Confluence is how hard it ...

Confluence – interactive template for company intranet
What do you like best? I love how easy it is to customize pages in Confluence and have them reflect your company's brand – you can create a great knowledge base using this tool. What do you dislike? It's not necessarily user-friendly and intuitive, and can seem complex to somebody trying to create pages for the first time. Recommendations to others considering the product I would make sure you complete a crash course in using Confluence if you're going to try to create blog posts or ...

It's there because we use Jira too
What do you like best? That it's a shared place for your company to disseminate information What do you dislike? -It just doesn't feel very fast compared to other document sharing sites (Google docs -The UI is starting to feel more modern but it's like lipstick on a pig -It still follows a fairly strict of information hierarchy, which makes it feel clunky What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? -Disseminating information

Easy to use, great for team collaboration and documentation
What do you like best? A great deal of functionality in the tool - we use it mostly for documentation on key processes, capturing meeting notes and building product/project/launch plans. Email notices for when a change is made to a page or space are useful, as I now don't have to go and check but can wait to be notified of when I need to hop in. The ability to lock a page comes in handy when touchy items still in the works like product pricing or roadmaps aren't ready for everyone to ...

Great!
What do you like best? Best for sharing with other people. We used it in our team to maintain a common shared document where everyone could go and edit it. It also has web-access which made it super convenient. What do you dislike? One of things that didn't work for us was that the confluence page would crash. Some of us would not be able to access the page. This happened only once in a while though. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Workwiki that functions but has room for improvement
What do you like best? Easy to scale and keep tabs on other departments. I feel like I know what’s going on inside my company thanks to confluence. I also feel like I can catch up on a meeting I missed. What do you dislike? Finicky UX/UI. Someone will be taking meeting notes, go to tag someone, misspell the name, then get totally thrown off and have to backspace a hell of a lot. It’s also not overly visual. Sometimes I have to hunt for something I know is in confluence but is tucked ...

Confluence for Company Intranet
What do you like best? Confluence provides our company a universal tool for collaboration across several global offices. I like that the tool provides attachment storage as well as project management. What do you dislike? The organization capabilities and the editing capabilities are limited. Without training, the system is not intuitive to navigate in terms of how spaces and pages are organized. Additionally, there are limits to editing capabilities, especially without knowledge of ...
