Extremely helpful solution
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I like the WYSIWIG doc layout and text format controls, it allows us to create online documentation simple as we use word processor. We can easily publish and share the documentation via the software as part of our daily activities. What aspects are problematic or could work better? The email notifications are useful, I get notification when something is changed, but in order to see what change doesn’t work well I have to spend ...

Confluence is a great document repository
What do you like best? It makes it easy to store documentation for sending around within our company, as well as documenting release notes. The integration with JIRA is key for us. We also use it to effectively collaborate on tasks and to do lists. What do you dislike? UI is not always very intuitive. It can be difficult to figure out who to add styles, bullets, and other formatting. Recommendations to others considering the product If you need to collaborate on docs across your ...

Great wiki, but not without some training
What do you like best? Each team in the company had their own section/page to document what we did. We were able to have up to date rules on travel and expense reimbursement without relying on emails. Onboarding was much easier for us because we were able to create a get started page and make a tree depending on what membership they were a part of Our auditors were very happy to see our rules and policies in one place. Change tracking was very useful, SSO means onboarding ...

Extensive, but a little inflexible
What do you like best? fairly user friendly but still professional. It's macros and integrations are a huge plus as well. What do you dislike? Easy to get lost in all the layers, hierarchies, and relationships. Everything looks the same. Recommendations to others considering the product Get yourself set up in a clean and comprehensive way first and don't get carried away with all the other things it can do, too early on. You want a good foundation. What business problems are you ...

Confluence Review From A Corporate Viewpoint
What do you like best? It's easy for users to collaborate, give permissions, search, integrate JIRA. What do you dislike? how basic it is. Simple is good but with confluence, the architecture is too simple that it doesn't allow for optimal organization of company resources. Highly suggest using for basic sharing needs. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? That there are little glitches that happen often and the difficulty of ...

I use Confluence both for my business and for a community
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Confluence is very affordable and you need to pay only $10/year for 10 users to host the system on-premise. This ensures I can maintain good data security. The app is easy to set up and use as everything is point-and-click. The Spaces feature helps to keep everything organized. You can grant permission to these spaces based on user role and define what each user can do in the spaces. What aspects are problematic or could work ...
