"Simple idea + easy installation = big impact"
What do you like best about CommandBar? The idea of letting users search for what they're trying to do in our app sounds simple but the more we thought about it the more we got excited about it. We have a lot of functionality that is sometimes hard to find and we don't have the time to invest heavily in personalizing our UI for all our different user groups. Installing CommandBar took a few hours. I really like how simple the SDK is. And since we've installed it we're seeing much higher ...

"Great tool for our users - Every website should be using CommandBar"
What do you like best about CommandBar? CommandBar has been a fantastic addition to our app. It was very quick to integrate and gives our users an amazing UX to navigate and use all of our features. We’re a CRM, and CommandBar allows our users to easily search for leads, deals, tasks and even reach out to our team in one place. Customizing CommandBar for our specific needs was quick and easy, and it allows us to add additional features without new code deployment. The support the team ...

"Fundamentally different approach to onboarding and engagement"
What do you like best about CommandBar? We wanted to solve onboarding and adoption problems but don’t like spammy popups that you see in other sites. We liked the approach that CommandBar takes with their search bar widget that can also be used in conjunction with in-app messages, product tours, and surveys. It felt more sleek, native, and embedded.

"CommandBar gives us powerful targeting out-of-the box. Great for experiments."
What do you like best about CommandBar? I really like CommandBar's out-of-the-box “rules” that let me target users based on attributes like what page they’ve visited, what nudges they’ve seen in the past, what they’ve searched for in the bar widget. In my last company we used Segment and manually kept track of all these, so it's really nice that CommandBar has this enriched user model without any configuration.

"Beautiful command center for our internal tools"
What do you like best about CommandBar? We added CommandBar as a layer on top of our internal tool that makes it really fast for our support team to perform common operations. We’ve added shortcuts to most commands so that agents can use them even faster. This is a huge win for our team because the efficiency savings translate into dollars directly, so CommandBar pays itself back many times over. We also have found that we have to spend less time manually onboarding new agents.

"No brainer addition to any app + deadends are very cool data"
What do you like best about CommandBar? CommandBar is the primary search experience in our app. It’s one fast, simple place for users to search for content and actions. Setting it up was quite simple and now almost all ongoing config (adding new commands for example) can be done by a non-engineer on our team. We get lots of compliments on it from our end users. We’re just starting to take advantage of deadend searches but those are a goldmine of user intent because you can see exactly what ...

"Had an epic impact on our conversion rate"
What do you like best about CommandBar? I've tried a bunch of different "user onboarding" products and always found it hard to make something that actually looks good and doesn't require constant eng effort. Came across CommandBar and seemed like they had a different approach than the other vendors. In particular, I liked how they let the user search for what they're looking using their own words not having to rely on our product terminology in addition to "push" them stuff (via the ...

"Every app with a help center should use CommandBar"
What do you like best about CommandBar? We use CommandBar mainly to make our help content (articles and videos) easy for users to access. We have a couple people at our company dedicated to producing this type of content. Very high production value but they weren’t getting much engagement so we decided to figure out a way to increase engagement or decrease investment. Once we found CommandBar we integrated it with Freshdesk, where our docs are authored, and added some videos from our ...

"Complete set of widgets that our users love"
What do you like best about CommandBar? I like how CommandBar allows our product team to implement their ideas without explaining them to our engineering team. It’s easy to create, preview, and implement stuff like announcement, feature spotlights, and other various notifications.
