Absurd and undisclosed fees at every step, often cannot send BTC because of 'internal error', slow and unresponsive support. Now I find out the co founder has a dubious history. Ignore all the fake one line positive reviews here. This place should be avoided at all costs.

avoid coinjar
Made my first deposit no dramas. Then added more in to see it was stuck on pending. Emailed them about it and they want some bullsh*t ID selfie and locked my account. Contacted my bank to get my funds back. Coinjar support just sends the same copy pasted response. No idea how I would get my blueshyft deposit back now either. Just seems like some bullsh*t scam.

Sneaky undisclosed spread costs
The fact that they, like others, don't tell you the cost of the spread on the transaction is sneaky. They do disclose the fees on the transaction, but the spread can cost a lot more than the 1% fee. I really think they need to be a bit more upfront on the TOTAL COST of all transactions. Perhaps ASIC or APRA the toothless tigers need to suck on their fingers to make them disclose all relevant fees. I just make my own spreadsheets to ascertain the TOTAL fees, and have worked out it's cheaper ...

Sneaky exchange
The positive reviews on here have to be fakes every other review page blasts coinjar and their sneaky tactics. I was in the same situation as heaps of people are in now with coinjar they basically froze my account, which was 100% verified according to them, they never told me and allowed me to keep making deposits until I realised none of my funds were available to make buys.
