"Good metrics but requires team buy in."

What do you like best? Good, clear UI. Easy to make and understand value streams. Very clear meaning to stats. What do you dislike? Value streams require structuring your jobs in very specific ways. Doesn't support wildcard branch /job matching. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure you talk to your teams and find a way to use the tool in their daily workflow. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Devoptics makes it clear to ...

"Has potential"

What do you like best? Nice visualisations of build metrics. Has the potential to provide a better overview of our build systems. What do you dislike? The free version is too limited to allow proper evaluation. Use of value streams unclear. Recommendations to others considering the product: Apply it to as many servers as you are able so that you have as much data in it as possible. Review regularly since the demo versions's data lilfetime is short. What problems are you solving with the ...

"Reasonable, but I don't see myself using it on regular basis. "

What do you like best? All the matrix relating to my pipeline are in one place and it is easy to take a bird eye view. What do you dislike? I don't have much use for the info provided by DevOptics, as I hardly every go to any dashboard to see my results. Slack hook for build pass fail works for 99% of the time. Recommendations to others considering the product: I can see DevOptics be useful for teams that considers speed of Devops as a measure of their project What problems are you solving ...

"best way to get information from jenkins"

What do you like best? very easy to use and see the main steps gaps What do you dislike? the value is a little high, I understand the added value that can bring but the value is too high for an initial result, I believe it should come embedded in the cloudbees license Recommendations to others considering the product: one version open source What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? check execution times and where we can improve the infrastructure

"this should be part of your tool-belt if you're using Jenkins"

What do you like best? Many enterprises are trying to do a DevOps transformation. Continuous improvement is required. Metrics are a must. DevOptics is open source that you can immediately take advantage of. Many people don't know that. They also have a paid version with more capabilities. What do you dislike? Its a new product and is still evolving with more capabilities What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Visibility is the main thing here. You ...

"Theoretically valuable but product direction is unclear"

What do you like best? Collecting and surfacing metrics on what features are valuable is great. What do you dislike? Actual use cases are badly defined, and not readily apparent. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? While trying to determine which pipeline components are most valuable to customers, we have not realized any benefits. Pipeline steps do not directly map to customer value.
