Close pros and cons

  • Provides a centralized CRM platform for managing leads, calls, emails, and workflows in one place.

  • Interface is easy to navigate, with straightforward setup and strong support for onboarding and troubleshooting.

  • Automation features including smart views, predictive dialing, and workflows reduce manual effort in sales processes.

  • Call management features include clear call recordings, AI-generated summaries, and call tracking for follow-ups and analysis.

  • Reporting features are limited and could be more in-depth, especially for tracking lead lists and success rates by category.

  • Some users find the cost of calling features and overall pricing high, although they believe the value justifies it.

"Close is the best CRM available"

What do you like best about Close? The desktop application is so fast, easy and just works! I've tried almost all of the popular CRMs available on the market, and the speed you get when navigating close is unrivaled. What do you dislike about Close? There is nothing I dislike. I would love a mobile app, though. What problems is Close solving and how is that benefiting you? Our lead generation and sales processes are so refined thanks to Close.

"Love it, could use a few simple fixes which they continue to ignore, but still like it for sales."

What do you like best about Close? Ease of setting up custom fields, email templates very simple, mostly user friendly. What do you dislike about Close? Their name field is ONE field, not separated for FIRST and LAST, has caused huge issues which they continue to ignore. If you have a name like Mary Ann, or Bob J. Smith, it's a mess. Also, their address fields are completely out of whack and then they want to charge you to fix it. We have very clean files and, when we reload them after ...

What do you like best about Close? I love how easy Close is to use - tracking our client's progress through our programs, communicating via email, text and phone call, and being able to create smart lists and email templates has been a huge time saver. What do you dislike about Close? I wish Close integrated with Facebook Messenger and could show those messsages! What problems is Close solving and how is that benefiting you? Being able to clearly articulate each step of our client journey ...

"Didn't expect it to be so good"

What do you like best about Close? At first, it looks a bit complicated but once you get the hang of it you realize that it's a really powerful tool. As a salesperson, I appreciate Close a lot. I'm loving the possibilities of personalizing the email sequences, the power dialer, the read receipts, smart views and probably some other features I still haven't even discovered... Wouldn't want to go back to any of the other CRMs I used before. This is close to perfect :) What do you dislike ...

"Must for every Startup or Small Business! Simple, easy to use and truly impactful!"

What do you like best about Close? The UI/UX is very clean. You don't require a lot of training to get started. It is simple to use and very easy to understand. Most salespeople are from non-tech backgrounds, and setting up a CRM with multiple integrations is a big headache. Close has eliminated this with its excellent product design and ease of use. They also have a very self-explanatory user guide; even an 8th grader can setup close after reading the documentation. What do you dislike ...

"Close is the best CRM for start ups and grows with the company, until you are big enough to have two"

What do you like best about Close? the functionaity is very well rounded and has ease of use. The complexity of tech behind the scenes does not bog down the user like it does with most CRM. You don't have to "learn" or "train" to use Close. It is very scalable and has very good integrations. The price is good too What do you dislike about Close? Very large import have to be split into multiple files to be uploaded sometimes. If the mapping, user error, is incorrect, the entire upload has to ...

"Great Inbound/outbound "pure sales-focused" CRM"

What do you like best about Close? Easy to implement, use and customize tool that covers just about every form of activity-based sales, pipelines, and sales management. What do you dislike about Close? Simply waiting on the ability to add a sales rep's forecast to report against, plus hoping for an iPad version of the app. Recommendations to others considering Close: Definitely consider this CRM if you are growth-minded! What problems is Close solving and how is that benefiting you? Scaling ...

"Very efficient resource for Sales"

What do you like best about Close? Ease of use, the functionality of the platform for both email marketing and sales. What do you dislike about Close? There is no mobile app for Close, which is limiting while I'm away from my computer. Also, the inability to undo text on emails. What problems is Close solving and how is that benefiting you? I can connect with many clients throughout the day, probably double the amount that I have pre-Close. The benefits have been increased revenue and ...
