Close pros and cons

  • Provides a centralized, all-in-one CRM platform for managing leads, calls, emails, and workflows seamlessly, saving time and boosting productivity.

  • Intuitive and user-friendly interface with easy setup and excellent support for onboarding and troubleshooting.

  • Highly efficient automation features like smart views, predictive dialing, and workflows that reduce manual effort and streamline sales processes.

  • Outstanding call management features, including clear call recordings, AI-generated summaries, and call tracking for better follow-ups and analysis.

  • Reporting features are limited and could be more in-depth, especially for tracking lead lists and success rates by category.

  • Some users find the cost of calling features and overall pricing high, although they believe the value justifies it.

These guys punch above their weight in a big way!

What do you like best? Their auto follow up emails are a game changer, they produce better conversion in about 1/5 of the time it would normally take. Their smart views have enabled us to focus on the right leads faster and unlocked a huge amount of opportunity. What do you dislike? One thing that could be improved is the visual side of their reporting, this is probably a nice to have for most people - but there's little visualisations of data here far more functional. Also ...

Easy to use sales CRM with simple UI that combines decent email and automation tools

What do you like best? I really appreciate the simple and uncomplicated interface. Used so many CRM's that are just too annoying to work in. What do you dislike? I think the integration of templated emails and doing mass campaigns in it is great (one of the main reasons I chose it) but it's still a bit cluck to manage all the different templates and seeing /running the reports on the email sequences. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Amazing product but especially exceptional customer care

What do you like best? We have integrated Close heavily in our digital product. It's been easy, and despite that the APIs are still very powerful. They are in theory focused on small and medium sized B2B customer but we are a 50+ contact center (based in Bogotá, Colombia) focused on selling car insurances through phones and through our website. I'd say they're perfect for any service where the sales are relatively long time (ours are around a week with between 5 and 15 contacts per ...

Super User Friendly

What do you like best? It's very user friendly. I've only needed help a couple of times with questions and their response was almost immediate. Great for sales teams. What do you dislike? That other reps can access my inbox. I would like it more private but that could be a company settings issue. Recommendations to others considering the product: Do it! You won't regret the decision. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Build for SDRs

What do you like best? Great Gmail integration. Emails show up both places as expected without funky formatting or cross-links to follow. It allows me to send automated emails from close.io and custom responses from the Gmail interface. What do you dislike? Reporting built to address the needs of SDR organizations. Arguably we are not using the product for lots of outbound so this dislike is not respective of the core use case. Recommendations to others considering the product: ...

Best CRM

What do you like best? The way it organizes accounts and contacts on the same page What do you dislike? The reporting could be improved with a drag and drop capability to build your own reports Recommendations to others considering the product: This is the best CRM I've ever used and I used at least 10 other applications What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Volume of sales activity increased so much. Campaigns are easy to run ...

The best CRM to manage relationships, all in one

What do you like best? I love it, you can communicate with potential clients and clients in one place, all in one, that you can use independently without the need for other tools, simply surprising in terms of productivity. I can also record calls to be able to analyze them later. What do you dislike? Close is a very good tool but the price is very high. Recommendations to others considering the product: I recommend it, if you really try and start using it you will be ...

presents leads and actions in a simple and logical arrangement.

What do you like best? Close lets multiple reps or agents team up strongly on qualifying and converting leads. What do you dislike? I am not sure there are Macros like Zendesk. There seems to be a lot of manual copy-pasting, or worse, having to come up with new words for the same messages, over and over, and over agiain! Recommendations to others considering the product: What advice do you have for people considering Close? What problems are you solving with the product? ...

Good experience. Constantly improving

What do you like best? Ease of use. UX. Constant improvement in features like search by contact. What do you dislike? Search features are not that great, especially when you have many email threads in one account. Analytics are very basic compared to other products. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Streamlined sales data. Better sales performance.

Easy to use, Powerful & Encouraging!

What do you like best? We loved how easy it was to get started on using it. Unlike the many other bloated tools, this one is intuitive and powerful. It has all of the necessary features for a small to mid-sized sales team and empowers you to work efficiently and effectively. What do you dislike? It was hard for us to convince the sales people to make the switch, so a better on-boarding process might help! Recommendations to others considering the product: Give it a solid try ...
