Needed a quick, cheap way to send occasional text messages...
Was looking for an easy way to integrate sending text messages from my .NET app hosted on Azure. Did not need bulk sending just wanted to send out an alert SMS if certain conditions were met. So liked the pay as you go model that ClickSend had. Put twenty dollars onto the account and that is likely to last me a lifetime of alerts.Integration very simple just an REST API call. Set up a couple of calling groups on the ClickSend site and can direct text messages to those in the group.ClickSend ...

Support is good
Support is good and they do respond fairly quickly. I like that they send you a transcript of your online chat (even if it is only part of it if it is fairly lengthy), but that gives you confidence that they haven't just fobbed you off when you raise an issue that they can't resolve right away.

I've tried other free/limited SMS services & prefer to just pay a nominal charge for something that just works like ClickSend...
