I requested to cancel my renewal

I requested to cancel my renewal subscription of a software. I got the confirmation of the cancellation soon, and an email from Cleverbridge Customer Support, Xavier, telling me that I will not be billed again and still can use the product until expire date. Usually, we just receive the cancellation confirmation and wait to see if there is any charge after that.
