There isn't a better database system for the Low cost.

What do you like best? Church Community Builder is easy to navigate. We love the online giving portion as well as the ease of making online payments through forms. We use that feature quite a bit. Emails for information purposes are quick and easy using the mail merge feature. Process Queues allow us to keep track of visitors getting connected. It definitely has some great features. What do you dislike? The custom support aspect of CCB is a little frustrating. I would like to be able ...

Cloud CMS done well with a few exceptions

What do you like best? Reliable and secure. We've been using CCB for about five years now and have had no real reliability issues. Moving our data into the cloud was pretty painless and reduces a lot of the risk of hosting on site. What do you dislike? I've been asking for years for the software to be more International friendly. For example, their forms input doesn't account for differences in addressing schemes in different countries. Our ministry has an international outreach and ...

Good solid standard

What do you like best? The team at CCB really communicates and tries to find out your needs. They have been very helpful at training us and showing us how the software can do what we need it to do. It is very customizable and integrates well with other software we use. What do you dislike? No software is perfect. Although CCB is very user friendly, we would like to be able to customize it even further. Sometimes they are slow to get out what they say "is coming." Recommendations to ...

Life with Church Community Builder

What do you like best? Pretty much everything about it. For us, getting off a local server and getting on a hosted / browser based platform has been an amazing experience. We love the interface, it's easy to learn and very member friendly. The online contribution component is slick and easy to reconcile - we use remote deposit with it as well which makes handling contribution easy. We love their Group Leader app, it give our leadership valuable info on the people they are caring for. ...

Great software - Really recommend the coaching for implementation!

What do you like best? Very robust software, really was a step up for us. Powerful tool that offers so many more features than we had with our previous on-site server-based software. Really geared well not only for managing church data from a STAFF perspective, but also really gives powerful tools to lay leaders to connect with their group members. Also gives attenders much more control over their own data - allows all staff/leadership to have access to a much more up-to-date store of ...

Has BeenIncredibly Helpful!

What do you like best? I like the constant improvements that are offered, the responsiveness of the team and the ability to interact with other users to find solutions, discuss best practices and work around difficult issues. What do you dislike? Like anything, there are always elements that I wish were more robust. I would like a few more features in mail merges (like scheduling an email in advance) and sometimes find there are some issues with things if you are running multisite ...

Discipleship focused

What do you like best? What I love is that CCB is not set up like a church database (although it does those basic functions) it is designed as a discipleship process manager. Process queues were the main reason we decided to use CCB and that feature has allowed our church to intentionally plan and execute a robust discipleship process that has made all our teams better!!! What do you dislike? Wish it had a mobile view for things other than contacts. What problems are you solving ...

Low cost and easy to use

What do you like best? The interface of CCB is clean and easy to understand. The system really is worth the money. What do you dislike? I wish it had an email builder similar to mailchimp. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Database functionality, email, volunteer scheduling, group management.

Always Amazing, But Also Lacking

What do you like best? Clean interface that is fairly intuitive. The program is massive, so there's a lot to know if you're the Master Admin. But help section is incredible with lots of videos and articles. They also have really, really good support to answer questions in a timely manner. Check-in for our kids ministry has been great. Runs smoothly, great reports, and allows us to track attendance. Reporting on data in the database is great. LOTS of options for various things. ...
