"Powerfull and flexible Monitoring Tool"
What do you like best about checkmk? Big selection of different plugins and an community exchange. With them one gets a solid base monitoring setup. The Rule based setup allows cascading Host and Service configurations.

What do you like best about checkmk? The best thing about Checkmk is its simplicity and elasticity to monitor a huge range of products. Moreover, APIs are very useful to automatize some procedures.

"Powerful and excellent value"
What do you like best about checkmk? Checkmk is one of the most powerful Nagios-derived systems available. The navigation avoids fashion in favour of simplicity, and the enterprise version is one of the cheapest monitoring and alerting solutions on the market. On top of that, there is an excellent API and it is straight-forward to create custom extensions.

What do you like best about checkmk? Distributed monitoring and Agent auto update features I'm using CheckMK for system and network monitoring in a large environment with plenty of network zones

"CheckMK Monitoring made simple"
What do you like best about checkmk? It's rather easy to get it going. If you really want to maximize the usefullness of it, you can tweak basically everything to your needs. The CheckMK has also a great community that is highly likely to help. If you are short on Budget you can easily use the free version first to get an impression and later on move to the enterprise version for even better support (from CheckMK directly) and some more tools (like automatic agent updates etc.).
